• Welcome to Third Grade 2020-2021!

Mrs. Palladino and I are so excited to be co-teaching this year and we can’t wait to have an amazing year with you all! In these unprecedented times, we want our classroom to be a safe and encouraging place of learning and growth, so please know that your children are in good hands this year.

Mrs. Palladino earned her teaching credential from UC Berkeley and her masters from Framingham State University and Ms. Stevens earned her teaching credential from Sonoma State University. We both have previous experience as homeroom teachers in upper elementary classrooms, and combined we have 22 years of full time teaching experience in Catholic education. Mrs. Palladino will be teaching ELA and Religion, as well as continuing to support the primary ELA program and our student support program. Ms. Stevens will be teaching Math and Social Studies, as well as continuing to teach Accelerated Math in the middle school and leading/supporting the various school Music programs. Students will also have Mr. Perez for Writing, Mrs. Thomas for Science, Señora Kosmal for Spanish, and Mr. Sawicki for P.E.

We know things will be a little different this year, but we want you to know that the whole upper elementary team is prepared and excited to support your child’s learning whatever the year may bring. Our third grade motto is ‘Work hard, Stay kind, Be thankful, and Make lemonade!’, which expresses our classroom pillars of growth mindset, empathy, gratitude, and positivity. We hope to create a learning environment that fosters personal growth for each student, academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually, and we look forward to working with our amazing families in this ethos. It is truly a joy and a blessing to be a part of this community. We can't wait to get started in the fall!
