    About Ms. Kosmal

I was born in Huntington Beach, CA and moved up north in 1995 to attend UC Berkeley.  I graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor’s in Social Welfare.

I fell in the love with the Bay Area and began working at St. Mary’s College High School in Berkeley as a Spanish teacher and Cross Country coach.

In 2004 I went back to school and received a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Sonoma State University.

In 2007, I began working as a counselor, teacher, and coach at St. Patrick St. Vincent High School in Vallejo.

And in 2014 I joined the St. Patrick’s faculty as a Spanish and PE Teacher!

    Fun Facts about Ms. Kosmal:

I have four children – Taylor, Tony, Olivia, & Alexa. (Alexa and I had the same due date, but I was born a week early on my mom’s birthday and she was born a week later on her brother’s birthday!)

Being the daughter of a flight attendent I have traveled to 18 countries and can’t wait for another opportunity to come my way.

I enjoy being active.  My most memorable activities include the Trans Tahoe Relay (one boat, six girls, and ten miles of Lake Tahoe) and Ragnar Relay (Golden Gate Park to Calistoga).

I lived in Chile for five months.

I consider myself a SloMex – half Slovakian and half Mexican, but I don’t like to consider myself a slow runner!
